A specialist eye clinic in Dwarka, founded in 2008 — guided by clinical rigour, military discipline and the conviction that good eye care should reach everyone.

MBBS (AFMC) · DO (Gold Medalist) · DNB · Global Health & Humanitarian Medicine (Médecins Sans Frontières) · DTM&H (London) Ex-Army eye surgeon
Dr. Anjali Mehta is an ophthalmologist with three decades of clinical experience, beginning her career as a commissioned officer at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. She subsequently trained in global health and humanitarian medicine with Médecins Sans Frontières and holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from London.
She founded Vasundhara Eye Centre in 2008 to bring senior-surgeon-led care to the Dwarka community. She personally conducts most consultations and surgeries, supported by a team of visiting consultants and trained optometry staff.

About 40% of Dr. Mehta's clinical time goes to the Sagar Trust — a charitable initiative she founded in 2009. Through outreach camps in under-served communities, the trust has reached more than 20,000 patients with eye examinations, cataract surgeries and refraction services.
Patients identified at camps who require surgery are brought back to the clinic or partner hospitals for treatment, often free of charge or at heavily subsidised rates.
